We have an extensive range of dispensers for pallets, dollies and base sheets/cards.
The pallet and dolly dispensers come in two main variations detailed below.
The fork types are used where the type or orientation of the pallet/dolly dictates that the only entry position is in the face of the pallet/dolly that is perpendicular to the direction of travel.
The finger type is used when the operation's entry position is parallel to the direction of travel. It is usually the preferred option due to its cost-effective construction and simplicity.
A combination of pneumatics and motors with heavy-duty roller slides actuates the fork type.
The finger type is actuated via pneumatics only and has a range of fully adjustable stops to suit each application, as well as the heavy-duty roller guides of the fork type.
The base sheet dispenser is used to apply base sheets/cards before an automated palletising process. It comes with either an integrated or stand-alone magazine to store the sheets/cards. The vertical movement is controlled via a pneumatic rodless cylinder carrying the vacuum arm, and the horizontal movement is affected via a motorised carriage.
Standard motors are SEW Eurodrive where applicable, but other motor manufacturers can be used on request.
Frames are manufactured from box section and thick plate with heavy-duty adjustable feet for levelling where applicable.
We are offering an extensive range of Lift Options from Side Grip Elevators for Single bottles around 20mm in diameter through Box Lifts to High-Speed Pallet Lifts doing 100 pallets/hour.
Our range of pallet lifts and stackers offers various functions and can be built in various formats. There are two basic types of machines.
Firstly, there are pallet stackers that will take a pallet or box into the machine, raise it into a position allowing a second unit to enter and be positioned underneath, and then lower the first pallet or box onto the second.
Secondly, there are simple lifts that can be fitted with heavy-duty roller, chain, or belt conveyors to move pallets or large loads between different elevations or floors.
All the units are manufactured from heavy-duty structural box sections and thick gauge plates and are counterbalanced to improve the drive arrangement's efficiency.
The lift arrangement is via a chain or belt drive of different configurations depending on the application.
Positioning is usually via an encoder or a series of adjustable roller limit switches.
The carriage is kept square by either a four-chain and slider block/bearing arrangement on heavy-duty applications or a cantilevered carriage with combined bearing guides on lighter applications.
Options include fitting a right-angle transfer unit or turntable unit so the load can be transferred out of the machine at 90 degrees to the input orientation.
Lifts and stackers can be manufactured from either mild or stainless steel.
We design and build customised robot tools to meet any requirement. We have over 25 years of experience in designing, building and commissioning robotic systems in the food and packaging industries.
We can supply three main types of tools, each designed to the exact requirements of each customer and their application.
Firstly, there are vacuum tools, which are used where a wide variety of formats and pick configurations need to be accommodated. These tools generally need a firm and flat top face to the product to allow the vacuum to be formed.
Secondly, there are clamp tools, which are generally the simplest type of tool. Depending on the number of placements required, these can have a single or split clamp plate.
Lastly, there are fork/plate tools, usually used where the product is unsuitable for a vacuum or clamp tool. They require either a roller conveyor to pick from with a fork tool or a pusher to load the tool with the plate type.
We offer various infeed systems ranging from a simple brake/acceleration belt to sophisticated marshalling systems for multiple lanes.
Construction is generally done in aluminium for weight saving, with specific areas in steel as required.
The tools can be supplied with crash detection and a facility to pick and place pallets and layer sheets.
We have the capacity to design unique support structures that are usually not offered by equipment manufacturers. We treat any design issues as challenges; in most cases, we can find a way to design the right solution—this includes multi-tier conveyors installed at height, restricted access, and different machinery platforms.
In addition to the Machinery, we design agronomical Workstations and Bench-es for a customer's specific packing and process requirements. as well as de-signing static items such as Tote Stand, Work Platforms and Walkovers.
